• To undertake overall responsibility for the Sales Team (Consumer Industrial). • To formulate sales plans consistent with corporate objectives and ensures proper implementation of these strategies. • To develop and recommend product development strategies consistent with company objectives and market changes. • To set sales performance targets for the department and its members. • To maintain constant personal contacts with key customers. • To review all customer activities to ensure customer satisfaction to be maintained. • To control obsolescence of inventory including disposing of slow-moving & aged stored stock. • To ensure accurate sales forecasting data from the sales team to be used as basis for internal planning control. • To staff and develop the personnel in Sales & Marketing Department. • To foster a spirit of unity and team building with the Sales and Marketing Department. • To recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standard of effectiveness of the indoor sales team. • To ensure that the daily jobs and duties within the sales office to be carried out smoothly and completed in a timely manner with the assistant of the Sales Admin. staff. • To manage the full implementation of new SL9 system for the sales & Marketing Dept. and to liaise with the MIS dept. to automate sales functions and provide all necessary reports for sales analysis. • To manage and supervise the costing of products by sales office staff. • To Monitor cost of sales to ensure that the profit contribution to meet up the growth objectives of the company. |
